Solution Focused Hypnotherapy
Solution Focused Hypnotherapy is an evidence based and solution focused approach. It utilises your natural relaxed state of mind to help you reach your true potential or change a behavioural pattern or habit. Simple but sophisticated, and my choice of therapeutic approach after 15 years as an NHS healthcare professional.
During weekly sessions we will focus on what you aim to achieve rather than the problems that prompted you to seek change, and utilise the power of trance, a natural state of mind, to help effect deep and lasting change.
Hypnosis, or trance, is more like deep relaxation than deep sleep or the realms of mind control and stage hypnosis. You will not do anything you do not wish to do and it can change a person only as much as they want to be changed. Therefore hypnotherapy enables you to achieve the things you want. As you are in a more relaxed state, you are more able to focus and accept the suggestions put to you. It is the natural harnessing of focused thought and a powerful state of learning and transformation. It’s how the brain works!
You are simply guided into that relaxed state by being asked to focus your mind and allow yourself to imagine the benefits of change. So just relax and switch the polarity around – and focus your thoughts on how you want things to be, rather than how you don’t want them to be, and withdraw all your thoughts from the problems, so you attract the solutions!
